What is a Twink?

When I first started playing World of Warcraft the term Twink was relatively unused. That didn't last long. As time world of warcraft leveling on Warcraft power Level players became more crafty, the Twink evolved. So what Power Leveling a Twink?

A Twink is a player character who Warcraft been decked out with the best equipment they can possibly own for their class and level. For example, a twinked rogue of level 19 might have the best armour and weapons he could possibly have compared wow power leveling other rogues of his level. Why? Because another higher level character probably helped obtain those items or gave the Twink enough world of warcraft movies to purchase at auction.

Twinking is mostly done around the idea of sending the Twink into battlegrounds where they gain honor and prestige. But Twinks can be used for other tasks as well.

Twinks are somewhat controversial in World of Warcraft because they tend to lend unfair advantage over other lower level characters. There has been much debate on whether or not Twinks should exist. Fortunately, World of Warcraft has some safeguards in worldofwarcraft hints that help to prevent Twinks from becoming too powerful.

• Minimum level requirements on equipment use
• Minimum level requirements on quests and quest items
• Minimum level requirements on various spells, potions and buffs

Creating a Twink is solely up to the player. Not everyone accepts Twinks kindly and if world of warcraft chose to make one be prepared to receive flak for it. On the flip side, it is a bit cool to have the most powerful level 19 hunter running around!

Some of the best Twinks are either Rogues or Hunters so you might want to think about those classes first if you decide to Twink.
